Hi! Welcome to Daily Dose of Prep!
I’m Lucy. A 21-year-old student, blogger, sorority girl, part-time librarian, tour guide, and rosé lover.
I’m a senior communication studies major at James Madison University concentrating in public relations and minoring in writing, rhetoric and technical communication. I sit as the Recruitment and Marketing Vice President of my sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, and I serve my university as a tour guide! I work as a part-time librarian and also run a photography startup taking headshots, engagement pictures and graduation pictures.
As you can see, I like to keep myself busy. When I'm not working or sitting in a desk, you can find me watching Jeopardy or The Bachelor, reading, recreating Carla Lalli Music's recipes, or cheering on the Yankees.
I’m a perfectionist to a fault, a high-key nerd (Slytherin House, anyone?), and would often trade a pantry full of groceries for a closet full of shoes. I love home-decor but am horrible at it, my Amazon cart is overflowing, and pamplemousse La Croix runs through my veins.
My blog is my creative outlet. A brainchild of fashion musings, lifestyle trends and college chronicles, Daily Dose of Prep is a cross-section of my brain on display for you to read. A voice, a platform, a community all in one where not only I, but the readers, are encouraged to shed insecurities and embrace their true selves. And of course, be the best dressed while doing so! 😉
