Hey Sailor.
I've been living in these white sailor pants lately. For weeks now, I have been looking for a unique pair of white pants that weren't linen. I finally found a pair from Target the other night. These white sailor pants are fun and flattering. They have deep pockets and a slimming high waist cut, perfect for the office, dinner and vacation. These pants run a little small, if you're planning on tucking tops into them I suggest going a size up. I'm wearing a size 2 for reference.

On a Safari
Summer style is much more interesting to me than winter style. I love the vibrant colors, the fun trims, and the fact that I don't have to cover up with a coat. I love wearing a pair of "statement shorts" and a cute top with a casual shoe all throughout the warmer months. It's pretty much my summer uniform and today's look is no different. I found these safari shorts back in March and knew I had to have them! I love the sherbet colors mixed with natural greens so make for a s

All Linen, All Summer
I'm on a scout for linen dresses, pants, shorts -- heck I even designed my own linen jumpsuit. Linen is the fabric of the summer and I can't seem to get enough of it! This lightweight, easy-breezy fabric has been popping up in just about every summer collection and it's about time I rave about it. I was combing through the racks of H&M the other day searching for business-casual pants and I came across this short sleeved linen shirt dress. At first I literally picked it up, g

Black and White in Spring
It's skirt season! I almost never wear skirts or dresses before April and now I can finally style my favorite minis for the spring. This cute look is brought to you today courtesy of NA-KD fashion! They supplied me with this cute as ever Levi's distressed black denim skirt. I styled this skirt with my white flutter-sleeve blouse from J. Crew. Sadly, this top is from two summers ago, but I linked a few other down below! I love the contrast of black and white, even in the sprin

The Mock Neck Top You Need
Last weekend my neighbor texted me as the sun was setting if I wanted to take advantage of golden hour that evening. I am never one to turn down a photo opportunity, so of course I threw myself together and headed off with her to snap a few pics. With the sun setting in 40 minutes, we didn't have time to scout a location or travel a far distance, so we ended up venturing into downtown Harrisonburg to find a few brick walls or store fronts that would make for a good backdrop.

60+ Outfits Perfect for Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve is just around the corner! In just 7 days time, many of us will be getting ready for Christmas parties, Christmas Eve mass, and family dinners. I love Christmas Eve. I come from a very close-knit family and we always practice a great family tradition on December 24th. The 38 relatives on my dad's side all go to Christmas Eve mass together and then share in a big Christmas Eve feast. I consider this day just as much fun as Christmas. Down below I linked 60+ dress

Weekly Skinny: December 12
Back with another weekly skinny during this crazy finals week! Today, I take my first final after turning in a slew of papers and final projects. As a communications major and writing minor, I don't take tests too often so I'm unimaginably nervous. Throughout the semester I've written 25 papers and only taken 6 exams, so needless to say, written finals aren't my strong suit! I'm so excited though because tomorrow I'll be heading home back to Richmond to celebrate Christmas wi

First Pick of the Season
It wasn't fall for more than 12 hours and I was already at the apple orchard with some friends this past weekend. One of my favorite places to visit during fall is the beautiful apple orchard in Broadway, Virginia just 11 miles north of Harrisonburg. This little orchard looks out onto the Blue Ridge mountains and is the perfect backdrop for photoshoots. Not to mention, the apples they grow are absolutely delicious! Today I wanted to share with you a great way to take your fav

Twist on a Classic Look
One of my favorite combinations for fall is styling sweaters with shorts -- it's a twist on a great classic combination. Especially if you're ready for fall but it's still a little warm where you live, shorts and a sweater is a youthful twist on a New England style that we all love. This bow sweater is from J. Crew and is one of my favorites come September. The cream and black is extremely chic and the bow adds and air of elegance and femininity to any outfit. Lucky for us, J

Let Freedom Ring in Lilly Pulitzer
Nothing trills me more than a perfect blue and white romper. When Lilly Pulitzer brought back the Jesse Romper in Stuffed Shells a few weeks ago, I knew I had to get my hands on one! This simple romper is disguised as a dress and has the most adorable white detailing along the hemline. The light, royal, and navy blues create a classic look against the white background and the seashells truly embody the perfect summer feeling the Fourth of July gives off. When I first laid eye
