Hey Sailor.
I've been living in these white sailor pants lately. For weeks now, I have been looking for a unique pair of white pants that weren't linen. I finally found a pair from Target the other night. These white sailor pants are fun and flattering. They have deep pockets and a slimming high waist cut, perfect for the office, dinner and vacation. These pants run a little small, if you're planning on tucking tops into them I suggest going a size up. I'm wearing a size 2 for reference.

On a Safari
Summer style is much more interesting to me than winter style. I love the vibrant colors, the fun trims, and the fact that I don't have to cover up with a coat. I love wearing a pair of "statement shorts" and a cute top with a casual shoe all throughout the warmer months. It's pretty much my summer uniform and today's look is no different. I found these safari shorts back in March and knew I had to have them! I love the sherbet colors mixed with natural greens so make for a s

May Wishlist
May gives us a green light to shop all things summer. When it comes to summer shopping, I like to include all styles and silhouettes. I know sometimes sweaters and pants can get a little stuffy during the warmer months, but if styled properly I think they can give a unique and personal style to any wardrobe despite the high temperatures. This May, I'm planning on adding unique colors and prints to my closet. Right now, I am loving beautiful shades of green. It adds an energet

A Day at the Farmers Market
I was driving down to the road the other day, on my way to work when I drove right past the most adorable fruit and vegetable stand. I had never seen it there before and was wondering how on earth I could drive that road every single day and never notice it. The following day, I stopped by to find out it was a new addition to the area. I absolutely loved the aesthetic of the little stand and immediately knew I had to take a few photos there. Richmond is full of quirky little

Affordable Fourth of July Finds
We're just one week away from my favorite holiday of the year! I love everything about the Fourth of July. From the fireworks, to cooking out, and going to the pool, everything about the fourth is just the best. Not to mention my birthday is the following day, so it's all just one big party. Another thing I love about the fourth is that everyone dresses in red, white, and blue -- my all time favorite color palette. I can finally put all the navy in my closet to good use. Even

Weekly Skinny: June 26th
It's been a crazy week and it's only Tuesday. Sunday was a day of running around and getting errands done and then visiting both sets of grandparents in the late afternoon and evening. I spent yesterday working, waitressing, and setting up my new technology. I added an iMac desktop computer to my Apple collection. I ended up purchasing the 1000 GB iMac yesterday morning after six weeks of saving. I'm so thrilled with my purchase! This is my very first "big girl" purchase. It

Summer So Far in Snapshots
I'm feeling refreshed and new after returning back from my 10 day long vacation in Virginia Beach. May was a whirlwind of working, blogging, brainstorming, editing, and getting back into a summer routine. Needless to say, a vacation was much needed after 50 hour weeks. With May 2018 in the books and half go June already gone, I can't believe I'm saying this, but my summer is more than a third of the way over. Here are a few things I've been loving so far this summer: Shows: U

May 30 Under $30
One of my special talents, that I seriously think I should write down on my "other skills" section of my resume is that I can find a good sale almost anywhere. I think that you don't have to spend a million bucks to look like a million bucks. I hope these posts can help soothe all of your questions about dressing "prep for less" for the summertime. With the warmer weather approaching, I try to stay way from jeans in general. They're hot and uncomfortable. I shared a variety o
